Many of our clients E-Mail the part components drawing to us by using the internet. We then check the integrity of the downloaded file for measurements. Material boundaries are then added. Profile paths are set and Hey Presto a programme for that part is written by the computer to manufacture the part. This is then verified in 3D to establish there are no errors (simulates exactly what the machine will do when in cycle, once the tooling is set). The first off part is then checked against the drawing. Surface finished are checked via our Mitutoyo Surface Tester. Printouts from our Coordinate Measuring Machine and Surface Tester are then clipped together and logged so our Customer has a record to refer to. If there are any finishing processes required i.e. Chrome, Heat Treat, Hardening, etc this will be undertaken.
